The British School in Colombo, Colombo 8 (2005)
A state of the art School complex facilitating International students, it is the first ever proposed built school in Sri Lanka. The complex houses many facilities such as, class rooms/ laboratories/ sport facility/ auditoriums etc. The building has been arranged around a central court yard, this space is utilized as the main gathering place for students and staff. The front faced of the building facing a main highway is designed to relate to the scale and movement of the public road a sweeping form is designed to relate to the setting.

The school complex to house a private school for local students is set in a suburban setting away from Colombo. The considerable site is one which gradually slopes towards the adjoining paddy field, the school complex consist of few separated units placed individually on different terrains.
Each unit contains facilities such as, class rooms/ laboratories/ auditoriums etc with each facing the paddy field beyond, concentrating on the view of the setting. The site gradually steps down towards the main playground area which adjoins the paddy field
